CONVERSATION

-Justin:I am young, I have a family that cares for me and gives me

pocket money regularly. I am studying in a good college, I have a roof

over my head and food to eat but I never feel satisfied.

-Lili: I feel exactly the same.

-Justin:Why?
-Lili:Accorded to my mum, we don’t know what it is to have nothing at

all. We get everything we want the minute we ask for it.We are too

spoiled.

-Justin:Do you reckon?

-Lili I do. And in those moments, I feel like giving up everything and try to

find a job in a humanitarian organization, to go and see what real misery

is like and altogether have a sense of purpose instead of feeling useless.

QUESTION ABOUT THE TEXT

-What is Justin and Lili’s problem?

REGLE FONDAMENTALE 2

« prétérit » à l’aide de l’auxiliaire « do » (3eme pers. « does ») prétérit

« did ».

sans « to ».

-he plays tennis Does he play tennis?

He does not (doesn’t) play tennis

-they worked yesterday Did they work yesterday?
They did not (didn’t) work yesterday

Comparer: They didn’t work yesterday

Et Nobody worked yesterday
