LFTH RULE 12eme REGLE FONDAMENTALE
VOCABULAIRE
-There was a Fire Sale in Villers sur mer this week-end. At 7 in the morning,
the first ‘shopkeepers’ started to arrive. Once they had found their room, they
could empty their boxes full of all kind of second-hand things from shoes,
clothes, watches to furniture. Some of them had trays, some others were using
trolleys to help them carrying them from one place to another while others
were going up and down from their vehicle to their stand. Around 12, we
started to see and smell smoke coming from stands where food-sellers were
stationed. Here we could buy sausages, chips and other hot dishes cooked by
travelling salesmen while the locals were selling homemade strawberry-tarts,
apple, prune, rhubarb and even cherry cakes.
